Uthman Ibn Affan

Uthman Ibn Affan (ra), the third Caliph of Islam, ruled for twelve years, longer than any other rightly guided Caliph. His reign saw significant economic prosperity and social improvement. Known for his peaceful, kind-hearted, and liberal nature, Uthman stood out for his generosity and modesty. Although he was the richest among the Quraish, he spent most of his wealth on the welfare of his people and in the cause of Islam, particularly aiding orphans and widows. Despite his wealth and power, Uthman lived a humble and simple life, steadfastly adhering to his principles and religious beliefs. He was thrice given the glad tidings of Paradise by Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
